Impact Evaluation

The ILAC Initiative has been working to improve the evaluation of agricultural research for development programmes so as to enhance the impact of research on development goals.
As part of its activities, ILAC collaborated with PRGA and ILRI in organizing an international workshop on "Rethinking Impact: Understanding the Complexity of Poverty and Change", March 26-28, 2008, Cali, Colombia.
ILAC also engaged with Research into Use and Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology on developing a proposal entitled "Impact Evaluation Approaches for Agricultural Research for Development".
From this proposal, a project, funded by IFAD, DGIS, Rochefeller Foundation, and AusAid, was launched.
