Project overview
Mon, 07/28/2008 - 08:37 — Cristina Sette
Introduction
The goal of the project is to improve the evaluation of applied agricultural R&D programs, so as to improve the use of evaluation in R&D decision-making and program improvement. The specific focus of the project is on the contributions of collaborative R&D programs to sustainable poverty reduction.
Project components
- Development of an on-line resource portal and help desk
- Compilation and assessment of existing evaluations of impacts of complex R&D programs.
- Conduct a set of exemplary new evaluations of the impacts of complex programs and synthesize the results.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing among those carrying out impact evaluations
- Develop capacity for evaluating complex, collaborative R&D programs
- Advocate for better evaluation and R&D programming
The Impact Evaluation Approaches for Collaborative Agricultural Research & Development project is a partnership between Research into Use, Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology and ILAC.
