Integrated Crop Management and Value Chain Improvement for Sweetpotato Livelihoods in Central Luzon, Philippines - Users’ Perspectives With Agricultural Research and Development (UPWARD)

Project Objectives

  • To develop and field-test appropriate practices in sweetpotato: a) disease-pest-soil management, b) production and use of healthy planting materials, c) conservation and use of diversity, and d) value-added utilization and marketing.
  • To enhance capacity of farming households for managing innovations in sweetpotato livelihoods through participatory group learning.
  • To strengthen institutional support to sweetpotato research and development.
