Workshop Objectives

Spread over two full days, the workshop aims to increase understanding of how to connect agricultural research with development through partnerships including challenges, best practices and an action agenda for the way forward.
We encourage and look forward to participants’ active engagement in order to deepen understanding on the practicalities in relation to the action agenda which will be further developed on this site, in the run up to the GCARD 2010 in Montpelier

In particular the workshop will focus on:

- Clarifying the drivers, importance and value of agricultural partnerships,
- Learning from different partnership practices, experiences and perspectives to help build consensus on what good partnerships looks like, and
- Agreeing to an action agenda to help advance both the formation of new, and improvement of existing, agricultural partnerships.
